this fella came by a couple times and he's one to stay and not be skittish but the branches can be obtrusive and then when he sits on the deck furniture he's shy and remembering physical distancing so I can't see his colourful rose breast. Maybe I'll have other opportunities. ;)

Happy Mother’s Day all you moms out there- I’m celebrating the fact that I come from a long line of fabulous mothers & our 2 wonderful kids are the reason I’m a mother. My grandfather always told me as a kid/teenager that I missed the best part of the day! I hope he saw me out and about early this morning around 6:00-6:30 ;) He was right - it's golden! Missing all my grandparents lately; we think of them often.
