The last of the autumn leaves are almost gone, and it feels like the rain will never end. I think it’s time to get into Christmas mode! I think some wreath making or baking might just start this weekend. Have you started anything Christmas related yet around your home? #lakescape #cusheonlake #saltspringisland #gulfislandsbc #beautifulbc

I only had two strawflower plants this past growing season. And being my first time growing them I was quite surprised how well they produce. They are wonderful for drying and bloom as long as the dahlias and zinnias. #pnwgardening #backyardflowers #strawflower #whiteflower #grownnotflown #flowersfordrying

A favourite fall flower. Can’t wait to have more of these in our garden next year! These beauties were at Stowel Lake Farm the last time I popped by their farm stand.

These zinnias, Aztec sunset are still blooming and I will for sure plant these again next year. Zinnias are one of the easiest flowers to grow from seed and are super long lasting as a cut flower. Highly recommend #zinnias #fallflowers #fallvibes #grownfromseed #pnwgardening

So I’ve finally finished mourning summer, and I am officially into the fall vibe. This past weekend I created these wreaths just for fun using all dried flowers from my garden. I was even able to forage the honeysuckle vine from our property! Some of the dried flowers used were, straw flowers, statice, hydrangea, amaranthus and cress. Do you have a favourite??
