We are so excited to announce an upcoming online, 6 week parent support group for those who could use a litt...le extra support during this challenging time! For less than the cost of two hours of parent support, participants will receive NINE hours of group support facilitated by two of our child, youth and family counsellors. This group will be facilitated by Emily Muertz and Alina Reed and will be based on the principles of neurobiology, attachment, connection and authenticity. To all my current clients, with numbers of active Covid increasing on the Island, please know I am watching this carefully. MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS INREACH Beginning Tuesday, Sept 8th, our Term 5 students will be offering massage therapy to address issues related to mental health and wellness, including postural changes, muscle tension, and fatigue.... To qualify, we ask for a referral from a counsellor, or a doctor, or a notice of a leave of absence from work, OR prescription for meds related to anxiety or depression. Appointments will run from 8:30AM to 7:30 PM Tuesday's for our Fall clinic term (Sept 8 to Dec 19th) COST is $19.00 All treatments are held in our in-reach room, which is a large room with personal treatment spaces created by privacy curtains.
