Are you 16-29 years old? Do you want to develop a play with Tarragon Theatre? The Young Playwrights' Unit is going national! Applications close on February 19. This year's YPU will take place online, we'll provide a $500 honorarium, and give you an opportunity to develop a new play culminating in a public showcase with professional actors and directors!... Some more details can be found here: https://www.tarragontheatre.com/young-playwrights-unit/ We're also taking specific care to extend an invite to people who come from Black, Indigenous, and an/or People of Color experiences, 2-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual/Agender, and other gender and sexuality diversity experiences (2SLGBTQIA+), Deaf and/or disabled experiences, people with experience of mental illness, and neurodivergent experinces, and people of working class, poor, and overexploited communities. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions about how we cultivate a space which is safer, braver, and dignifies the humanity of everyone.
