The last week or so of December has been a bit rough in our household for a variety of reasons, but on one particularly rough day my sweet friend Nicole and her mom made and delivered a full dinner including deserts to our house. It's honestly one of the most thoughtful things that has happened to me in a long time and my eyes welled up knowing that someone would not only think of me but take the time to do that act of service. It was so generous and completely changed a "bad" day into a wonderful one.

Mommy coming to the rescue to warm up those cold hands. This extended family session was booked only a week out when the forecast predicted +17, then somehow that changed to thunderstorms/possible snowstorm closer to date. Like, I never expect predictions to be bang on, but I didn’t think it would change that much!!! Chantal and I were both stressing out. I was keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for good weather since no one knew when they would all be able to get together again, and thankfully it ended up being somewhere in the middle and we just needed a few mini breaks for the kids to keep warm.

Some of the many faces of Scarlett. My oldest goes to preschool with Scarlett so he immediately recognizes her face as he saunters into the room. He rests his little hand on my shoulder, surveys the images I have selected, scrunches his face and states "I love these ones of Scarlett but why do you have to have those other ones with her parents"? Top 9 of 2020. Definitely not surprised at my #1 liked photo as it had over 100 shares and still gets likes even months later. Al thanks for being such a good sport and always making holidays special for the kids. Also pumped to see that Halloween is the focus of 3 if the photos bc it’s the best holiday ever, sorry Christmas but Halloween will always be where it’s at for me.
