This color correction brought to you by... S H A D E S E Q Due to Covid-19, hairstylists have been dealing with more color corrections than ever before!... Keep in mind when doing colour corrections, the colour wheel along with Shades Eq will be your best friend. The litho chart is also the perfect guide to help you along the way. In this situation my guest wanted to go back to her natural color (level 4) and in order to neutralize that strong orange hue, I knew I needed ALOT of blue. I chose to use 04N and 04NA at her zone 1 (I didn’t need as much blue on her natural but knew I needed the depth of the NA) then I refreshed her ends with straight 05NA. Always remember, color over color will go darker, but I also knew that because of the amount of blue in the NA, it would absorb the light making it appear darker. We were thrilled with the results.
