UPDATE: Our normal shift change is 11:00 am. That's when we shift from breakfast to lunch. That being said, we have decided to close at 11:00 so that those who work the lunch service can stay home and safe and those who are working this morning can get home safe before the freezing rain starts. The last day of our first full week back to normal hours and seeing you all back in the dining room is so very humbling. To top it off we had our friend and brother One8tea Ministries and his beautiful family in for lunch. What better way to celebrate the end of a great week! Awhile back we purchased this print of the world and right away we knew something was missing so we asked our good friend and amazing artist Jesse Lynn Jenkins to paint the one scripture that would go with a map of the world on the first panel. She brought it in today and we couldn’t be more pleased. We are blessed! Thank you Jesse!

Pay it Forward update. As of today we have far surpassed 300 meals paid for and the donations keep coming in. When I woke up this morning there was a donation from the UK in my e mail. Only because of every one of you is this possible! We are getting very sizeable donations from local businesses and churches of every denomination. We are in this together! In times like these, when life can sometimes feel dark and lonely, WE have all come together as one to care for the less f...ortunate and PAY FORWARD what you have been graced with.
