Ok this is serious now the scammers are putting a syskey on your computer when you allow them to login to your computer and you cannot remove this until you pay for it and yes you cannot even log onto your computer plus there is no magic software to remove it and yes all your information /document/pics gone...gone...gone. Yes this is illegal but they live where we cannot do anything, they are low life scum of the earth bottom feeders. Just don't agree for anyone to log into your computer, don't call anyone when a number appears on your screen and don't accept any calls from a supposed Microsoft employee. You must call and only call your local Certified Technician and once again insure your technician is certified, its like bringing your car to a back yard mechanic for a mechanical.

Well it has been a long time since I have posted anything. The only thing I need to post and I think it is very important is the scams and viruses that are out there today. If it is too good to be true then it probably is, So for your sake always question anything that comes across your email or desktop. If it is not the norm then it is a virus, if there is a phone number for you to call then it is a virus DO NOT CALL THEM, if you have a friend/relative in need via email then... it is a scam/virus. Don't let anyone make you second guest your situation and above all do not let them in your computer and above all put fear into your thoughts. They prey on the weak, it has been going on for decades, just now there are no faces to those criminals. Please contact your local computer tech if you have any doubts. DO NOT CALL ANYONE OUTSIDE OF YOUR AREA CODE. See more

Overall Computer Tip of the Day Ideally it is best to keep your Desktop computers off the Ground and your Laptop computers off your Lap. Both computers use airflow to circulate inside the computer to cool the hot burning to the touch CPU. If you feel an abundance of heat coming out, it is due to insufficient air flow, your heat sinks and/or your vents are clogged with dust and dirt. We here at TAT's Computer Shop will clean the fans, vents and heat sinks with our annual check/tune up and add a one year subscription anti-virus, just so you are protected until next year.

Windows 8 Tip of the Day Run two apps side by side Modern UI apps are what Microsoft calls 'immersive' applications, which basically means they run full-screen - but there are ways to view up to four at once. ... On Windows 8, swipe from the left and the last app you were using will turn into a thumbnail; drop this, and one app displays in a sidebar pane while your current app takes the rest of the screen. And you can then swap these by swiping again. Windows 8.1 expands on this and can display up to four apps simultaneously, if you have enough screen space. Move your mouse cursor to the top of the screen, and when it changes to a hand icon, drag and drop your app to the left or right. Once you've moved it enough, a dividing line will appear, you can drop the app, and it'll appear in just that part of the screen. Use the bar between your apps to resize their window widths, or if you need to make one full-screen again.
