The Holiday Season is the perfect time to indulge in a seafood dinner! We now have King Crab Legs, Canadian Lobster Tail, and Canadian Dry Scallops in our retail store. As always, you can also pick up a bag of pacific white shrimp (available raw or cooked).

Are you missing the food truck? You don't have to go without pickerel just because the food truck is closed :) Since so many people have been in the store lately looking to experiment with pickerel on their own I thought I might try to help out. In the 2 recipes below, I used the exact same cut of fish the chip truck would use; boneless, skinless J-Cut fillets. These fillets are super easy to use as they do not require any prep work! Finally, no more bones or having to skin the fillet yourself. The end result is a light and flaky serving that will have them asking for more! These J-Cut gems can be purchased for $10.50/lb. With the end of our 2020 season, we would like to show our gratitude and say THANK YOU for the support we’ve received at our fish and chip trailer. THANK YOU for making your way to Wheatley, despite road closures in every direction. THANK YOU for being understanding through our own construction mess and confusion. We know Thanksgiving is a little different this year... so why not change things up even more? Ditch the turkey dinner and indoor gatherings. Enjoy fresh perch or pickerel instead! (Shrimp and chicken are great options too!) We are still OPEN for outdoor dining or take-away. The tent walls will keep you warm, and if you’re here after dusk there are new lights underneath! September is here, and that means fall is right around the corner! Be sure to get your fill of delicious yellow perch and battered pickerel before the cold sets... in it’s going to be a beautiful weekend to eat outside! We have finally moved the trailer and tents to their permanent home! (Just waiting on our finishing touches...) Also, we are keeping our SUMMER HOURS for even longer this year!
