Good Saturday Morning! We are OPEN today (8 am - 1 pm) AND Wednesday (3:30-6:30). It will be busy so prepare to wait in line to enter, shop don’t stop, follow the instructions of our staff including wearing a mask, sanitizing and exiting out the back, and please stay safe. The Market was pleased to present Peter from The Underground Gym $500 that market vendors and staff raised for them. While it wasn’t quite what we had hoped to raise, due to some licensing snafus, as Peter said it is $500 more than I had yesterday for the kids. Keep this sentiment in mind - every dollar counts whether shopping with a local business or giving to a worthy cause. Ever dollar counts. ... Congratulations to our friends and popular vendor Nomad by Pinetree Catering / Pinetree Catering for opening their new shop on Bay St in the old Scan Deli. Their build-your-own sandwich bar created a fabulous sandwich full of local products and toasted to perfection. They also have a crepe station, and all your favourite breads and pita chips and sweets and even items for your home freezer. The Schep family has had a huge impact on local food production and value-adding of farm product in this region. As one of the founding members of the Market, they helped lead the way for so many others. We wish them many more years of continued growth and success.

We’ve reorganized the downstairs and it is WIDE! Plenty of room for social distancing while you shop. Use the front and back foyers to switch sides! Also use the May St entrance and you won’t have any issues with the Ribfest layout! Most vendors have moved so have some patience with everyone while we navigate the new space.
