Update: PENDING MEET AND GREET Piper is back in our care This gorgeous girl is looking for a special home. Piper is approximately three years of age and a Rottweiler mix. ... Because of her active personality, she is looking for an owner who is home often (possibly retired). A large yard is preferred as she enjoys being outdoors. Piper loves going on walks and adventures and does excellent on a leash. Although she does well with other dogs she would do best in a home on her own as she likes all attention to be on her. Due to a recent litter of puppies, her loving and nurturing personality shines thorough. She is quite the snuggle bug and will never leave your side. She can be a bit shy towards men at first, but can quickly be coerced by treats and will warm up quite quickly. Please note we are not opening our doors quite yet for animal viewing but have made the decision for approved applicants to meet our animals prior to adoption by appointment only. If you are interested in Piper, please fill out an application online at www.tbdhs.ca/adoption, message us directly on our page or contact us at (807) 475-8803 for more information

Sweet Jasmine is ready to find her forever home Jasmine came into our care as a stray and is approximately six months of age. She is looking for a special home who is able to provide her with enough time and patience until she is comfortable in a new setting. Jasmine is still very shy and tends to hide when her kennel is approached, however she is slowly coming around and is easily coerced by treats. Due to her shy demeanor, a house with older children is recommended. She ...should do well with others pets in a household as long as they do not overbear her. We are hoping to place her in a home with others cats specifically as she tends to come out of her shell more with a companion. Please note we are not opening our doors quite yet for animal viewing, but have made the decision for approved applicants to meet our animals prior to adoption by appointment only. If you are interested in Jasmine, please fill out an application online at www.tbdhs.ca/adoption, message us directly on our page or contact us at (807) 475-8803 for more information

Shadow is patiently waiting for his special home This handsome boy is a five year old domestic medium haired male who came into our care at the end of September. Although we do not have much information on Shadow, we know he is looking for a patient and loving home who will work on gaining his trust. Although he is slowly coming around and has become quite the snuggly boy with a select few, we know he is not thriving as much as he would in a home setting. He does not seem ...bothered by the other cats in cat room, however it is not guaranteed he will do well with other pets in a household. Older children are recommended due to his shy and slightly reactive demeanor. We know with a lot of love and patience, Shadow has a lot of potential to be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in adopting Shadow, please apply at www.tbdhs.ca/adoption or contact our front desk at (807) 475-8803 for more information

Meet Chatter Chatter is a handsome two year old short haired male who will instantly melt your heart. Chatter can a bit hesitant of being pet at first, so he is looking for a patient owner who will give him time to properly adjust to a new home setting. Once he gains your trust he is quite the love bug but he will also let you know when he is done. Because of this-older children are recommended who are able to respect his boundaries. ... Chatter does not seem bothered by the other cats in cat room, however, a proper meet and greet is recommended to ensure he is able to coexist with other pets in a household. We are unfortunately unsure about dogs. Please note we are not opening our doors quite yet for animal viewing, but have made the decision for approved applicants to meet our animals prior to adoption by appointment only. If you are interested in Chatter, please fill out an application online at www.tbdhs.ca/adoption, message us directly on our page or contact us at (807) 475-8803 for more information
