This past Friday, some of our wonderful employees got to enjoy the Women In Technology Mixer and Social put on by OACETT - Thunder Bay Chapter . It was so much fun, can't wait for it again next year!

The weather forced us inside again but there were still plenty of smiles today during our pizza lunch Pizza from N.Y.S Restaurant. All the pizzas were very delicious!

Special cheers to our amazing staff at TBT Engineering! Our Employee Relations Committee works very hard to boost our community support effort during the holiday season. This year was no different, our staff banded together to raise money for charities that are very special to our company. This year we raised money for The Children's Aid Society, Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services, and the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society.... One of our most anticipated events at TBT Engineering is our annual Family Holiday Party. We get together with coworkers we haven't seen in a while . We give gifts . We get to appreciate what makes our company so special; the employees and their families. This year COVID put a pause on our usual plans. In lieu of our gifts and party this year, TBTE is making a donation to the RFDA Thunder Bay Regional Food Distribution Association, Shelter House and Our Kids Count.... #tbte #Holidays #donation

Every year, for many years, a call goes out to our employee's children for handmade ornaments. Every year, we are always blown away with the creativity we see in each piece. It makes us so happy to decorate our office tree with these amazing ornaments year after year. Our collection is growing again with these lovely entries. Thank you to all the kids who put there time and love into creating ornaments this year!

We are participating again this year and encourage those of you who can to support the RFDA Thunder Bay Regional Food Distribution Association. Thanks again CBC Thunder Bay.

We surpassed our goal! TBT Engineering set out to raise $7500 for Movember Canada and we currently have raised over $8000! Way to go team! Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, supported in Movember this year. We couldn't have done this without you.

Another successful lunch today with the staff. It was a little colder and a little windier but with great company and excellent food, everyone had a great time. Thank you Asian Restaurant for the amazing food!

Here at TBT Engineering, we are continually looking for ways to give back to our community and support growing individuals in their pursuits. This year we are very proud to support Superior Science. Superior Science ran numerous camps throughout the year to encourage kids to participate in #STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities. These kids gained skills that will help them in the future and possibly led them on a path to their future careers. Well done to everyone who helped organize and lead in the activities and camps that were held!

Rain Day? No Way! We picked the perfect day to have our 4th social distance lunch. Our very delicious and filling lunch today was from Mama Alfa's Pizzeria. Everything was perfection! Thank you to the staff at Mama Alfa's. Cookies were also available and baked by one of our very skilled employees, thank you Zena! Of course, not all of our staff could join us here in Thunder Bay. Our Fort Frances office had their own social distance lunch today as well. A wonderful lunch from Mekong Restaurant. Thank you for the excellent food!

Last weekend, one of our employees, Brendan Stark, raced in Terrace Bay for the Test n’ Tune (Dragtest Event) COVID style. 80+ cars from across Northern Ontario entered with no spectators allowed due to the pandemic. Brendan raced an ’82 Firebird built in his garage over the last four years. TBTE provided a truck and trailer for him to bring the car down so that in the event something went wrong with the car he wouldn’t be stranded, a little piece of mind. In the Saturday G...ambler’s race, Brendan was able to win in the first round of eliminations, but red lit (left too early) in the second round, one round out from the money rounds. Great job Brendan!

Did someone say lunch time? Under gorgeous skies, we had our third social distance lunch gathering. More of our employees ventured from their homes to join us for lunch today. It was great to see everyone and catch up. Thank you to Pinetree Catering for the amazing food!

Last week TBT Engineering hosted our first in-house Canada Safety Council approved ATV course. Well done to everyone who participated and helped organize!

A little rain can't damper our spirit! Today we had our second company lunch meeting of the year. We were able to get outside after the rain this morning and enjoy some great food while social distancing and catch up with the team. Thank you to Bannock Lady for the wonderful food!

Today we had our first Social Distance Lunch Meeting! Instead of our normal BBQ in our lunch room, we ordered in and spread out outside on our wonderful campus grounds. Thank you to The Sal - Salsbury Grill for the great food! It was a beautiful day to be outside and see some of our coworkers that have been working from home.
