Yesterday was the first day out of day 3 for our Climate Monitor Training Workshop. Thank you to ARI for driving to Tuk to teach our trainees on why and how we should monitor active layer permafrost, water temperature/ turbidity, etc. Also, thank you to the trainees for arriving and showing enthusiasm in this training

Obie Anikina and I came to Inuvik Monday for the Indigenous Mapping Workshop, lots of good information and sessions throughout the day. Some of the sessions i/we attended were google earth pro, how to upload gps data into google earth, share community knowledge with story maps, survey 123. Sure a lot of information in a few days. The workshop has people from all over the world, New Zealand, Australia, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, etc the instructors are from google, esri, ETC. lots of learning in a few days!!!
