Its a very chilly DIY Friday! This is a simple crafting project for those logs that are just too perfect to burn in your fireplace this weekend. Simply drill a hole in the top using a bit thats the same size as your candles and voila - the perfect new green candle holder! Did you make one of our DIYs or one of your own featuring wood or other natural products? Be sure to share it with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #TDLcontracting, or email it to us at [email protected] to be featured on our page! :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy #DIY Friday! This DIY is perfect for all of the wine lovers out there. Built using a simple wooden pallet and a little creativity, this easy-to-make project will look fantastic in your home bar or even in the kitchen. The sides of the pallet, when the pallet is turned horizontally, are the perfect spot for storing your wine glasses and other drink accessories. Happy DIY Friday! This weeks project is great for all of you foodies and wannabe chefs! We are heading downtown this weekend to Taste of Toronto and feeling inspired, thought this would be the perfect DIY to celebrate the occasion. This project is easy to make using any size piece of log that fits your needs and a drill to make the holes for your favourite wooden utensils. Its DIY Friday! This DIY is easy to create and very practical - a tablet stand. A tablet stand is extremely useful for when youre cooking up a storm in the kitchen, multitasking with your laptop or files on your desk, or simply as a photo slideshow display. This simple DIY project is a great weekend project as the tablet stand will certainly come in handy on Monday as you head back to the daily grind. ; Its DIY Friday again! This is a great summer DIY project that you can utilize both inside and outside of your home or cottage. Leaning shelves are easy to make and are a timeless piece of furniture - just check out any of the top furniture stores if you dont believe me! This leaning shelf is particularly beautiful due to its dark stain and potted plant holders. Did you make one of our DIYs or one of your own featuring wood or other natural products? Its time for our 1st Official DIY Friday of Summer 2014! Canadian summers are the perfect time to get outdoors with friends and family, complete DIY projects around your home and cottage, or just simply relax and enjoy the weather. One of my favourite things to do in the summer is light a big fire and roast marshmallows. This DIY Friday project involves using a log found around the yard and candles, and it makes the perfect centerpiece for your outdoor table on those late nights. Its DIY Friday! This project might seem a little more complex than our past DIYs, but its simpler than you think! You can easily cut up the slices of wood and use either glue or nails to attach them to your back plate. This is the perfect addition to a front hall or mud room due to its rugged feel.
