Getting ready to take Community Helpers to the Rescue to play with three different grade 1 classes tomorrow. I can't wait to see the students become heroes!
I had the wonderful opportunity to develop a fun and interesting game called Island Rescue for a grade 4 class. Picture this: You've just been shipwrecked on an island and you need to be rescued. But you only have 9 items with you, such as a flashlight, a mirror, and a karaoke machine. How do you make use of light and sound using these items, along with your environment to signal a ship or a plane?... There was definitely a LOT of conversations between the groups of students!
