Feeling so grateful today I’m going to take a moment to thank all of our clients and the people who have supported us throughout 2020 When I sit back and think about the chaos 2020 has brought us, I can’t help but be grateful for everyone who has supported us! ... In March I was overwhelmed with clients texting me asking how they can help. People buying massage gift certificates to help keep me a float, people texting me just to check in and see how I am doing, and people constantly supporting my social media posts In June, when we could re-open, I was so nervous that business would be slow... little did I know my phone would be ringing off the hook with people wanting to book appointments and support us In July when I decided to make a huge shift and switch Revive Wellness to a mobile massage company, all of you supported and applauded the decision, making it all worth while In October I was lucky enough to bring @zoe.tzitzoglakis on to the team and all of you have welcomed her with open arms and have appreciated all the greatness she brings to Revive Wellness In December when we were told to shut down for the second lockdown, I was once again flooded with people asking how they could help, purchasing Christmas gift cards, and just checking in on a personal level AND NOW!!! Since re-opening last week, so many of you have gone out and gotten your referrals and without skipping a beat have gone above and beyond to support once again! COVID UPDATES We are officially open for business! There has been adjustments made to the previous Covid-19 restrictions for Massage Therapy. Massage Therapy is now allowed to operate under the conditions that patients can provide a prescription for massage from a physician or a referral from another regulated health professional such as a physiotherapist or chiropractor.... Our official start up date is December 26th, 2020. Again, we are only able to perform massages for those of you that can provide a prescription or a referral for massage from another regulated health professional. COVID-19 Update!! As I’m sure you all know, massage therapy is one of the businesses that needs to stop practicing in Alberta for the duration of the lockdown. This of course means that Revive Wellness has closed up shop for at least 4 weeks. Everyone on our client list will receive an email with our updated massage schedule information once we are back at it! People often ask me what myofascial cupping does and how it can help, so let me briefly explain... . 1. cupping helps to increase circulation . 2. it pulls apart adhesions in the fascial and muscular tissues, helping the muscles preform much more optimally... . 3. it creates a specific stretch on the muscles it is suctioning . 4. I find it helps to loosen up the superficial tissues which in turn helps me get into the deeper tissues with more ease . 4. can leave some sweet marks, but doesn’t always, and doesn’t have to. If the marks are making you not want to try this treatment, let your therapist know and they could use less suction or move the cups around rather than leave them stationary and that will lessen the chances of it looking like you got in a fight with an octopus . .
