Team Lyburn

Well its been some crazy year and the curling world is looking like outside, a little blustery.. Part of team Lyburn hits the ice this weekend but our first official event is scheduled November 27-30 In Morris for the Dekalb Super Spiel.. until then lots of practice. More updates to come but the team would like to welcome our new assistant coach Brent Breamer to the squad. Brents wealth of knowledge and being a former champion will be a solid addition to Team Lyburn..

Well our fun run of our first mixed doubles competition came to an end last night. Finnished with 4 wins and 3 losses. Mikaylah played great and I am sure she learned a few things.. that looks like a wrap on the season for me. Both girls have u18 provincials coming up in March so will be cheering both there teams.. thanks to everyone for awesome messages and encouragement thought the whole year it really means a lot. Thanks

Well long day and managed to pull out another win.. still long ways from qualifying record 3-1.. feels like I have played 10 games.. mixed doubles is lots of work LOL

Well another hard fought battle and we managed to bounce back with a win.. Mikaylah made a fantastic last shot to win.. team Lyburn/Lyburn still alive Father/Daughter..
