2015-16 Recycle Rush... thanks guys for all the memories... it was a tough game, we did well, 5th place in the Western Canada Regional, and we took home the FIRST Creativity Award. What an amazing year!

Robots. It's what we do. We do competition robots. Tough, fast and agile robots. Then we compete, three on three, in an arena in games very much like professional sports. It's intense. It's stressful. It'll make you sweat. And it will be the greatest experience of your life! If you haven't joined us yet for the 2015 competition season, come to our Open House. Our first meeting of the season is Tuesday, September 9th, at 6:30. If you missed our registration night, don't despair! Come and see what we're about tomorrow!

Opcom will be having an Open House Information and Registration night on Wednesday September 3, 7:00 pm, at Progressive Academy, 13212 106 Avenue. This event is for the Grade 7-12 FRC level program. From September to June, we will be meeting from 6:30-8:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. As is the nature of our club, some weeks the days do vary depending on student availability, mentor availability or field trips. The cost for the year will be $600. From January 1, for six weeks we will be meeting 5 to 6 days per week. This is our competition build season, and is quite intensive. There will be two trips to Calgary, one for kickoff, and one for the three day competition in March or April. Travel deposit will be $500, but this amount can be offset by student fundraising activities.
