To our friends, family, sponsors and followers. We wanted to give an update on what is in store for us this curling season. Due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, we have decided to use this year as a development year. We will be focusing on league play and practice instead of travelling to cash spiels. Our plan is to still compete in play downs, with the potential of making it to provincials. Although we will miss playing in cash spiels, we felt that taking it easy is the best decision for the health and safety of our team and families. Yours in curling, Krysta, Karynn, Kim and Sydney

We are so excited to announce that Claire Murray will be joining us for the remainder of this competitive season, including the Avonair Cash Spiel in December, provincial qualifiers in January and hopefully provincials! Claire brings so much experience to the team and we are thrilled to have her. In 2014, Claire was apart of the Provincial, National and World junior champion team. She is a 2014 Usports Silver medalist, 2015 Usports Gold medalist and first team all star. We...lcome to the team! COVID UPDATE: Currently, Alberta has stopped recreational activities, including curling, so for the next couple weeks while we cannot be on the ice, we will focus on training and our mental game.

Krysta, Karynn and Sydney are very excited to announce that we will be adding Kim Curtin to the line up next season! Kim brings a very determined and competitive work ethic while still having fun! She has represented Northern Ontario in two National Junior events, earning bronze in 2010. She also won bronze at the 2009-2010 CIS National Curling Championships. Since moving to Alberta, Kim has competed in the Alberta Scottie’s Provincial playdowns four times, earning third pla...ce in 2016 and forth in 2020, losing a tight battle against us! We have all played against Kim over the years and are super excited to be joining forces with this fearless competitor! We hope everyone has a good Easter!

While we excitedly await the smallest member of our team’s arrival, Kim has taken a step back to prepare. Stay tuned to find out who will be joining us on the ice!
