These faces make it all worth fighting with Mother Nature! Cows have been more cooperative not calving through the last two nights (knock on that continues for the rest of the Arctic cold week)! Lucky to have the kids home from school yesterday to get caught up! Barn is full with 14 pairs and over flow has 11 pairs, don’t have the heart to kick any out!

I think I can tell where the warmest spot in this pen is! That or they’re trying to get in the barn . I’m sure their thinking it’s worth having a calf just to get in there, I’m hoping they all wait a week!
