Central Tech turns 100 in 2015 and the CTS Alumni is sponsoring a Logo and Slogan contest for our CTS community. You love your school so turn your thoughts toward Tech and get in on the cash money. Now! This would be a good addition to any portfolio (as an example of a competitive submission let alone if it is the selected winner) and the $300.00 prize is amazing! ... All the deets - CTSAA CTS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Contest Rules and Criteria: Participants must be currently attending CTS in a fulltime/part time/night school or Art school capacity. The CTS Alumni Executive, with support from CTS Faculty, will choose the Logo winner and Slogan winner from all suggestions submitted. $300 cash award will be provided for the winning Logo $100 cash award will be provided for the winning Slogan This can be two individual participants or one participant. The Logo must be submitted as: high resolution tiff (at least 300dpi) 9x12 size and preferably in color The Slogan must be submitted as 8 x 11 plain paper and in text The winning submissions may be used for letterhead, banners, billboards or media presentations as well as activities/events that are unveiled for the CTSAA’s upcoming 100th Anniversary in 2015. The Alumni Executive have the sole right to use the winning Logo/Slogan as they see fit without referral to the student who provided the award winning submission. Credit will be given to the artist and creators of the Logo/Slogan for their personal portfolio use. The contest will close on April 12, 2013 at 5pm Submissions are to be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the CTSAA designated mailbox located in the Main Office of CTS. All entries must provide their name, a brief bio, contact information and thoughts/concept about the design or logo submission to be considered. Thursday at the Metro Convention Center a team of two CTS students: Jonathan Goldhar and Peter Romeo under the coaching of Tony Rende placed 1st in Metro Toronto Automotive Dealers’ Ass’n (TADA) Competition. The team will continue on to international competition in New York City in April. Fantastic! Congratulations!
