To all our valued patients, we hope this post finds you well and that all your family and friends are healthy and happy. This has been a new experience for all of us and truthfully we don't really know what is coming. We have to prepare by being responsible and conscious of how we operate in this "new Normal". With that said Drs. Stephanie, Randy, and myself are pleased to announce that as of June 15th 2020 we will be able to accept all patients. There will be changes at the... clinic that will have to be followed in order for us to maintain a healthy and safe atmosphere. They are as follows: 1. Masks will be mandatory to come in for an appointment. We the doctors and staff will all be wearing masks and we ask that you do the same to keep the clinic safe. 2. If you find the clinic doors locked, it doesn't mean we are closed. It just means that we have reached our limit for how many people we are comfortable being in the clinic at once. Kindly call the office number 5197392701 and either Beth or Tammy will be happy to let you know when you can come in. We promise that our staff will do everything to get you in as quickly as possible so you won't be waiting long. 3. All rooms and the lobby will be disinfected after each patient so please understand that this will take a little more time than you might be used to. Again our purpose is to completely clean our clinic so the atmosphere is safe. 4. If you have any symptoms or don't feel well, kindly stay home. We all appreciate you looking out for yourself and others. 5. Traffic in the clinic will be kept to a minimum so the chance of interacting with anyone other than staff is minimal. To all our patients, family and friends, I know that these are unprecedented times and the world seems as if it has been flipped. We all wonder what the world is going to look like once we can get back to our real lives. I just wanted to give you an update on the clinics plan for re-opening. We are obviously following the guidelines set by the provincial government which explains why we have been closed since March 16th. Our plan is to tentatively open May 4th with the focus ...on patients in urgent need of care. There will be changes as to how we treat and operate. We will practice social distancing with limited chairs in our lobby and increased time periods between patients to limit cross-over. Masks will be worn by all staff while operating. Every room will be completely disinfected after each patient has been treated. We want to create an environment that you as the patient can be confident will be safe and comfortable. COVID-19 UPDATE: Effective as of today, Tecumseh Chiropractic and Wellness Centre will be until further notice. This closure is based on the recommendation by our provincial governing board (College of Chiropractors of Ontario), to prevent and lower the risk for transmission of the Covid-19 virus. We pride ourselves on being a health care facility that promotes health and wellness, and we are not willing to put patients at risk for transmission.
