Hello Everyone! I love the smell of September in the air!! I hope you are all enjoying the seasonal transitions and are keeping snuggly warm! I am so excited... of what September brings, including the re-introduction of our West Coast Swing Beginner Level 1 class. Whoot Whoot!! For this to happen we have made a few schedule changes. We are working very closely with other instructors that use the studio to ensure that all measures for social distancing are in place to ensure that this is a safe and productive environment for everyone. Please note the following has been put in place from the summer with our Beg 2 classes and we will continue to evolve the requirements for this learning experience. Registration opens today for September classes NOTE there are NO classes today, September 7th as the studio is being utilized for other activities. We will be offering a 3 week session for September. Method of Registration: Please email, text msg or Facebook Msg Wild Purple for registration at this time. If classes continue, an online registration option may be made available later in the year. *** NOTE!!! Session fees have been revised September Monthly Registration: Adults - $30.00 per person/3 weeks Students - $24.00 per person/3 weeks Single Class Registration: Adults - $15.00/class Students - $12.00/class Location: Ted Motyka’s Dance Studio Agenda: 7:15 pm West Coast Swing Beginner Level 1 8:30 pm West Coast Swing Combined Beg Level 2 / Intermediate 9:30 pm - Practice Time (only available for registered couples - no drop-ins at this time) Attendance We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the class. As there are different classes coming and going we have staggered the times to ensure that the previous class has time to exit the building and the next class to come in, drop off shoes and move to a table to prepare for the class. We ask that you wait in the parking lot / alley way until your instructor has confirmed your entrance. Approx 5 minutes before class start. To ensure a safe, consistent environment, registration requires the notification of your partner for the month as there will be no rotation in class and drop ins are not welcome. As mentioned previously, we are continuing to put measures in place to ensure social distancing and safety for all participants. Please note the following measures that will be put in place to ensure your comfort and safety as we move forward toward the dancefloor together. xoxo - Increasing class limit to 10 couples. Minimum registration of 3 couples is required for a class to commence. - Pre-Registration of ALL attendees is REQUIRED! No drop-ins will be admitted into class, nor will you be allowed to loiter in or around class location. - Pre-Payment of class is required upon registration. - Disinfecting before and after each class - The water cooler at the studio is off limits at this time as we cannot ensure disinfection between users. Please ring your own water bottes (multiple if necessary) to class. - Only one person is requested in the bathroom at a time. You are encouraged to please use the washroom before leaving your home and please come in with your dance attire instead of changing at the studio - Require everyone to bring their own hand sanitizer and personal face masks - There will be a few face shields available for purchase if anyone would like to try. Cost $6/each. - Partnerships will remain consistent throughout class. No rotating at this time. (If you are not able to locate a partner, we will do our best to register you with a partner) - Strict physical distancing between couples is required. Dancefloor has been marked for everyone’s comfort. If this cannot be respected, nor the personal space of others, you will be asked to leave, your registration will be cancelled and reimbursement of the remaining balance to the current month’s payment will be provided back to you. - Arrival and exit of class is to be respectful of all participants. Please ensure a staggered, socially distant positioning is executed providing respectful space of all participants comfort and safety. Please do not loiter at the door way. The alley has been marked for social distancing to enter the studio. I hope I didn't miss anything.
