We are very happy to share some more memories from our Christmas party. We can observe a wide range of emotions in these pictures where children are expressing their joy of the holiday season through various activities during the party. We are extremely grateful to our photographers Amanda Vandenburg and Jonathan-Serge Lalande for capturing these amazing moments into these great pictures.

New after school space and new transportation Teddy Bear Daycare has acquired a new and separate space, to entertain the after school students. We have also recently purchased a 15 passenger van to transport the students from their school. It will allow us to provide a higher level of safety as we must follow the Covid precautions at the program and on the bus. The students will remain in their small bubble once they are picked up, and arrive at the daycare.

After School Program Teacher Permanent Part-time: 3:15 pm to 5:45 pm on school days (the program is closed on school closure days, PD days and school breaks)... Wage: 20-30$ per hour, depending on the CCSU certification level Main Job Duties : Develop and implement programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with parents, co-workers and community service providers working with children May supervise and co-ordinate activities of other teachers and early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
