We have added some NEW items to our Teddy's throwback clothing store. Thank you to those who have already ordered :) Who remembers T.J.'s or when it was the GT? We still like to call it "The Hotel".

We had a great Grimsby experience last evening. We needed a fix of Teddy's chicken wings(Teddy’s Hot ). We were a bit early for our takeout so we cruised throu...gh the downtown with our great team of firefighters collecting for those in our community that need our help to have a special Christmas. Did our part on the drive through then went in to pick up our takeout. Teddy was doing everything they were supposed to do for Covid and it was so nice to see they were at capacity and people enjoying the night. We were waiting off to the side and a gentleman passes us heading to the washroom and we exchanged greetings and he carried in. On the way back to his spot he stopped and asked us if we were new to Grimsby. He was new in 2013 and we were new in 2007. We had a conversation and he ended with a welcome to Grimsby and have a great night. It was such a warm reminder of why we love Grimsby. No matter how many things change with 2020, Covid and development that Grimsby is still Grimsby. Everyone is friendly, everyone wants to make you feel welcome and people just take the time to talk to each other. It was an experience that reaffirmed why we love our family run local establishments so much and why we like Grimsby so much. Covid can mess up a lot of things but it can’t take the Grimsby spirit out of Grimsby. We are truly Friendly by nature and with everything going on let’s not forget that. Your smile, a nod and a few kind words will make someone’s day special and more than you realize in these times. See more

**UPDATE** As everyone now knows, the government has placed us into a lockdown for 28 days. We learned a lot from the first wave, what works, what didn’t work, what makes sense and what doesn’t. What we learned is that takeout simply doesn’t cut it for a business our size. With this comes the news that we will be temporarily closing until further notice after tomorrow (23rd). This isn’t an easy decision but after almost 60 years in the game we know what we need to do to ensur...e we are here for 60 more. Grimsby and beyond, we LOVE you. We will be back soon. We beg you to continue to support our other business’ in the area so they don’t have to permanently close. Stay safe, stay well and we will see you all for a cold pint soon. Sandy, Teddy & family.
