There are many reasons why our society is so sick as a whole. It’s estimated that 88 percent of North America is metabolically unhealthy. Years of lies and deception from big food and big Pharma have created an environment of chronic disease. The good news is it’s easy to fix if we know the right way to do things. Here are 5 areas where we have been duped by companies looking to get rich, at the expense of our health. 1.Blaming salt for what sugar did. ... 2.Blaming fat for what carbs did. 3.Blaming butter for what margarine did. 4.Blaming ‘lack of will power’ for what junk food did. 5.Blaming cholesterol for what inflammation did.

One of the questions I get asked a lot is what does a day in my life look like.. well, here is what I’m currently doing ! Morning Wake up! ... Wim Hoff Breathing Big glass of water with Himalayan Pink salt and Creatine Bulletproof Coffee Afternoon 5-10 minute Ice cold shower (more on these bad boys in another post) Fasted Workout Break fast with a post workout superfood smoothie Evening Blue blocker glasses on by 7pm Finish eating by 8-9 pm depending on day Yin Yoga / Meditate Now this is a brief summary and it is not the exact same everyday. This is what I strive to do to optimize my mind and body. The one thing that never changes is that I’m always eating the highest quality foods everyday. Food is and always will be the number one most powerful variable in our lives, and the best part is that it’s totally in our control. If you’d like to learn how you to can take a 5-10 minute ice cold shower everyday, let me know. Doing this is one of the most powerful things you can do for fat loss, cardiovascular health, and just to become an absolute warrior. Cold therapy is the bomb!

We often don’t understand how much of our lives we can actually control. Anxiety is often related to the feeling of helplessness or hopelessness. I’ve personally experienced tremendous anxiety in my life. However, I realized I needed to take control of the things I could take control of. The most important is what goes into our bodies. There should only be an option for bronze fuel when it comes to your car. The human body needs premium fuel at all times. When you take contro...l of your body, things start falling into place like never before. This is obviously easier said than done as there is a lot of information out there (most of it bad and driven by profits ) about how and what to eat. The simple truth is Mother Nature knows best. Sugar free this, and keto that, are usually loaded with gut destroying ingredients. Keto does not equal healthy. Sugar free does not equal healthy. Low fat is not healthy. Low Carb does not equal healthy. We need to stop falling for these clever marketing schemes. Eat real food. Eat from the earth. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.
