It’s been a long time since I have made a post, so I’ll do another meet the maker introduction My name is Michelle and I am the owner and maker behind teepees 4 tots! At the beginning of the year I had been busy making all sorts of felt play food, teepees, campfires and hobby animals. Then the pandemic hit, and all the markets had been canceled. I held out hope for Christmas but unfortunately I don’t see any of the amazing markets happening this year. Making and creating... is a hobby of mine, it’s not my full time day job, I am a nurse. My specialty is palliative care, and I currently work in palliative pediatrics. I have been working full time, so I am not able to take any custom orders this year. But I do have several products currently in stock. I’ll be posting photos of all the creations I have on hand, local pick up is always available, and several of my products are in the most adorable little hand made store @almostanacre . I have several products that I usually only take to markets, pillows, denim whales, our fun little fish pillows. We have been quiet over here with social media! I was going to start back up with spring markets, unfortunately those have all been canceled. I have seen lots of posts about buying local and supporting small shops in these dark times. Lots of people are offering curb side pick up or shipping. But the truth is we don’t know that what we are shipping or receiving may or may not have the virus on it. I see so many people stating we are taking extra precautions to insure everyt...hing is not contaminated but in truth you can not guarantee it. Small shops like myself will have a hard time recovering but in the end everyone’s health is far more important than our little business. While everyone’s lives are changing and trying to stay safe, home and positive we won’t be shipping, or taking any custom orders. But we will Gladly take any suggestions on things you would like to see us make and create! My craft room is getting a nice cleaning, everything will be organized. We are going to start posting photos of things we have made. We want everyone of you to be safe, stay home and remember we are all in this together See more
