Lessons I’ve learned from 2020: Taking a risk and moving into my own studio was worth it. I remember being so nervous to start my first day. But I can say I’ve never looked back When the unthinkable happened, and we were closed in March, I was able to adapt. I’ll admit the first month was so stressful. The fear of the unknown. But I chose to enjoy the time I had. So when it happened again in December, I took one day to be sad. I’ve chosen to enjoy this time off. I know... it won’t be long before we are hustling behind the chair again. My clients/friends are the most amazing, loyal, supportive people out there. They were there for me while I was off, and ready for me when I was back. You guys make my work feel like fun. Thank you. I learned that I must surround myself with people that fill me up. People that add to my life, not fill it with negativity. Although sometimes letting go is hard, I know it’s the only option for me. Lastly, I’m STILL learning I don’t have control. Things happen at exactly the right moment and not a second sooner. Surrender to what is. I’m sure this will continue to unfold for me in 2021. So tell me, what something you’ve learned? See more

Today is the day that I start a few little upgrades in my studio. After working in my beautiful space for a year, there’s some kinks that needed to be worked out. Nothing too crazy, but things that I have been talking about for a long time! I am extremely grateful to have the time to get this minor things done while we are off. ... Read that again. It’s been strange times. This holiday season in some ways the best, most relaxing ever, yet also so heavy. I think, along the way, we forgot what we teach our kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. To lead by example. ... Your opinion is just that, YOUR opinion. It’s sad to me that people have allowed that to take over their life. Trying to force their beliefs on one another. When there is a simple answer. Do what’s best for you. It’s not about trying to make people change their minds, or convert to your side. But instead, focus on what matters most to you. You’ll see how things begin to change around you. Mostly because your perspective will change, but that is besides the point. The point is to be happy in this short life we have. Merry Christmas Eve everyone, T
