ALARM ALERT!! Our very own office experienced an attempted theft just the other day. The analytics on one of our outdoor cameras triggered an alarm which prompted our monitoring centre operators to check the video footage. With the live connection, operators could see a man attempting to steal license plates from our Fleet. External Sirens were activated which caused the perpetrator to flee with no further issue.

ALARM ALERT! A Commercial site protected by TELSCO Video Services experienced a break-in just the other day. Two individuals entered the site activating the traditional intrusion system. This alerted our operators to check the cameras on site. After seeing individuals, EPS was called immediately. ALARM ALERT! A Commercial Construction site protected by TELSCO Video Services experienced a break-in over the long weekend. An individual entered the site and triggered a video alarm. This alerted our operators, who quickly called the authorities to advise. EPS arrived on site within minutes, while the perpetrator was still inside. In that time Shannon has played a few different roles including Monitoring Centre Operator, Customer Care Member and most recently, Health and Safety Coordinator. When Shannon isn’t filing FLHA forms you can find her with her fur babies, Willie and Nova, exploring the mountains or relaxing by the lake. While Exploring the lovely scenery our province has to offer, Shann...on loves to indulge her passion for Photography. From catching that once in a lifetime lightning shot or going over new techniques to get her on the cover of National Geographic, she enjoys capturing all kinds of beauty. Born in Edmonton and raised in Sherwood Park, some of Shannon's favorite things to do are head to the Old Strathcona Farmers market to embrace the busy and chaotic fun of supporting local farmers or hop on a streetcar ride across the river to explore the endless trails. Melissa is currently a key member of our customer care team and our much appreciated Billing Specialist. When Melissa isn’t taking care of our customers you can find her practicing calligraphy and yoga or simply keeping her skills sharp as a red seal Hairstylist. Born ...and raised here in Edmonton, Melissa has strong Italian roots and so it is no surprise that family is a huge part of Melissa’s day to day life. Melissa loves spending time with extended family when it is possible, and for now is enjoying all the extra time with her husband and son. When we asked Melissa for her must see spots in Edmonton she was stumped saying, I don’t know if I can narrow it down to one specific place because Edmonton has so many hidden jewels. I will say if you are looking for an entertaining, fun, laugh a whole lot kind of night then you should check out Rapid Fire Theater, any of their improv shows are great. But if you want to be outside she would point you towards the University of Alberta’s Botanical Garden to take in the beautiful scenery. No stranger to the security business, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge to our outside sales team and works hard to ensure his fellow Edmontonians have the best possible security solutions for their homes and businesses. Born and raised right here in Edmonton, it is no surprise that Stephen's favorite place to eat is The Keg. One of his favorite sayings being I Need my cow wi...th a caesar salad on the side. In addition to his passion for security and a great steak, Stephen also has a lifelong love for aviation! Most days, if he isn’t looking into the newest camera tech available, he is flying around the globe on his flight simulator with frequent visits to Pheonix. A commercial property secured by TELSCO experienced a break in recently that resulted in the apprehension of the intruder. When the alarm was triggered our staff was quick to call the emergency contact and dispatch a mobile guard, to discover there was someone onsite. Edmonton City Police responded quickly to the call, arresting the individual who broke in and recovering the stolen goods.
