CALL OUT FOR DONATIONS OF CLOTHING Recycling can be much more than dropping recyclable cans, plastic and glass. That said, the CHR is asking the community to recycle/donate gently used unwanted clothing and especially at this time of year, winter clothing. The CHR has contacted the Salvation Army Thrift Store in New Liskeard and Rebuilt Resources in North Bay. Both are accepting donations. Items such as furniture, large/small appliances, baby car seats and/or kitchen utensils.../dishes will not be accepted. Gently Used Clothing items only: Baby & Toddler all sizes Kids clothing all sizes Youth clothing all sizes Men & Women’s clothing all sizes Raincoats/pants all sizes. At this time, the focus is to have winter clothing donated such as gently used boots, mitts, hats, coats, warm up pants, scarves. Please be sure that zippers are in good condition. Please drop off washed and packed donations at the CHR office in the DPHC, beginning November 5, 2020. Last date for donations is November 19, 2020.
