** 2020 Temiskaming Festival of Music CANCELLED ** The Temiskaming Festival of Music began in 1932 and has been held every year since its inception. Sadly, for the first time in its history, the Temiskaming Festival of Music WILL NOT take place in 2020, due to Covid-19 concerns. We did not come to this decision lightly. While we are extremely disappointed, we must be socially responsible and do our part to help deter the spread (or potential spread) of the virus. Communit...y based measures, such as social distancing and limited social gatherings, make it impossible for us to continue with our event this year. The Festival Committee would like to thank all of the participants who registered for this year’s event. We hope that you will continue to make music and find safe and creative ways to share your music with others. We look forward to seeing you next year. We have begun processing refunds for registration fees. Unfortunately, we cannot reverse the charges on your credit card so a cheque will be issued to the individual listed as the account holder. FINAL DAY TO REGISTER! If you're anything like me and have waited until the last minute, make sure to register for this year's festival by midnight tonight (February 26th). Go to https://t-f-m.ca and click "Online Registration and Syllabus". Everyone is welcome, from students to adults. Do you have an instrument that's been collecting dust for years? Do you love singing or playing music with your family and want to show off your skills? Participating in the music festival is an excellent motivation to start playing again, or a great way to keep your skills fresh. We'd love to see you there. <3

Two days left to register for this year's music festival! If you haven't yet, make sure to register by Wednesday, February 26 by going to https://t-f-m.ca and clicking "Online Registration and Syllabus". We'd love to see lots of new faces so spread the word. :D

For those who haven't yet registered, this is reminder that registration is open through to February 26. If you or someone you know is interested in performing but can't find a suitable class, contact us here or by email at [email protected]. We're happy to add additional classes to include anyone who wishes to participate. To help with your planning, this year's festival will run from Tuesday, April 28 through Thursday, May 7, with the Grand Concert on Thursday, May 14. Week one of the festival will feature schools, bands, and string classes. Week two will feature voice and piano classes.

CHANGE OF LOCATION: The Temiskaming Festival of Music's first meeting of the season will now be at the New Liskeard Community Hall, this Tuesday, October 1st at 7:00 p.m (upstairs, in the office on the left). Due to work-to-rule labour issues, we will not be able to meet at TDSS as originally planned. Hope to see you there!

Not sure? Come on out to the meeting anyhow to learn more. Our first meeting of the season is this Tuesday, October 1st at 7:00 p.m., at the New Liskeard Community Hall (changed from TDSS).
