In the spirit of the classic book series, the "Choose Your Own Megillah" Spiel is a hilarious, interactive retelling of the Book of Esther! Wear costumes, bring groggers, and prepare to have a lot of fun. 7:00 pm: Megillah Reading for All Ages Featuring eight Temple Sholom megillah readers and Purim songs. Note: If you’ve already registered for the Spiel at 6:30 pm, you don’t need to register again as it’s the same Zoom link 7:30 pm: Purim Comedy Competition (Adults only!) We will be joining Temple Sinai in Toronto for their annual comedy competition, as Canada’s top Jewish comedians go head-to-head, in partnership with and participation of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company. Joined by our friends and partners at Beth Israel (Kingston), City Shul (Toronto), Friends of Yiddish (Toronto) and Temple Israel (Ottawa).
