So excited for my students who received acceptances into their university programs. You’ve all worked very hard towards achieving your goals and you deserve it! Congratulations, and wishing you all great success as you embark on the next chapter of your life this fall!
Our school has closed effective March 13, 2020 and will be closed two weeks following the March Break to help stop the spread of COVID-19 or until further notice. Students can still receive help remotely via: phone and email. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. As a community, we will get through this challenging time together!
Had a lot of fun teaching Peel Board of Education staff and teachers today. Everyone had a great time, learned new skills and got to take a finished piece home with them after just one session. It was wonderful to see everyone's unique interpretation! Thanks Kelly Krug for reaching out!
Thrilled for all my students on their acceptances to their university and college programs this year! Congratulations!! You were recognized for all your hard work! Now you can celebrate! Look forward to hearing where this next stage of your life will lead you.
Had a wonderful day this past Sunday with fellow jurors Noni Kaur, and Ann Horton-Chapman judging artwork submissions for the Annual Humber College Art Show at Humber North Campus. A variety of media was submitted, with finalists representing Humber in the (U.S.-based) League for Innovation in the Community College 33rd Annual Student Art Competition. Special thanks to Maggie Hobbs for all her hard work and pulling off yet another successful annual event along with Nancy Marino-Benn, Kizzy Joseph and the Humber P.R. students for their excellent coordination of the event, and the delicious lunch. with Maggie Hobbs.
