On this Valentine's Day I'd like to offer some heart balancing for you. You need not be physically present as our heart's magnetic field extends outward many feet in all directions and permeates our entire being and others at the same time...it connects us. Our heart itself is the core of our being where memory of our inner truth resides. I believe that when we're in balance, when life feels easy and when we can physically experience joy, that our body and mind align with an...d support our heart energy. There is so much more information on the heart but this is the point where I am going to send to you a personal offer of peace. Simply sit quietly with your focus at your beating heart and allow this energy to flow through your veins softening and strengthening you wherever you need this active intention. Before you become active once again please send this Metta outward to others...spread the love so to speak. See more
Take a 5 minute break and try this Mudra to stimulate agni - digestive energy.
Good afternoon, it's been some time since I've posted here and want to bring forth a thought or two. In the middle of the night I awoke to the sound of a close relative moaning in pain as they bumped around downstairs in the dark. What presented as a severe onset of stomach flu revealed deeper lying issues of Chrohn's Disease resurfacing. Because of seasonal stressors related to pleasing everyone, taking on more work than humanly possible, and not practicing any form of self... care this relative paid the price letting it go on for too long and experiencing the consequences. I quickly stepped in and began with a very gentle BodyTalk treatment which quickly took the body from a stressed to a more relaxed state where the pain was more manageable and the mind could relax letting the treatment cue the body to do the work to reduce symptoms and begin the process of reconnecting broken circuits of communication which normally keeps the body in a healthier state of homeostasis. At this time I want to remind all of you to take more time for yourself. Make it a daily priority whether it's a nap on the couch, a short meditation, journaling, singing, walking, yoga, or whatever form it takes that holds meaning for you, that allows you to release tension in your body, mind, spirit. As well and equally important is receiving BodyTalk for yourself. It allows you to take the guesswork out of what your requirements are at the time of each session delving deeply into the source of where your stress begins, what it is affecting and how to set up your body/mind to balance the links broken by the stressors. Anxiety and depression are rampant at this time of year for all the obvious reasons in our environment. The BodyTalk System works very gently to create a deep sense of ease for you. As every thing is so very interconnected and entangled within us and in our outer experience working toward balance in even just one area affects the whole. Please feel free to call me to discuss your concerns and/or to set up an appointment for one or a series of sessions for yourself or a loved one. Private Message me here or contact me through my website terrasolbodytalkandyoga.com. Thank you. All the best. See more
So true..it is our own body that contains the knowledge to heal itself.
Median Nerve Entrapment by Medscape The median nerve can be compressed at many points along its course to the wrist. Depending on the site of compression and th...e symptoms, the syndrome is known by various names. The most well-known and frequent form of median nerve entrapment is known as carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Provided in this article is a brief overview of the disorder, relevant anatomy, pathophysiology, and management. The median nerve, colloquially known as the "eye of the hand," is one of the 3 major nerves of the forearm and hand. It courses from the brachial plexus in the axilla to innervate the intrinsic muscles of the hand. More here: http://bit.ly/1lFg5Ds Image larger here: http://bit.ly/1mOlVlJ
It's now wonder that the liver consciousness guides our body and minds with organizing and planning.
Perfect breath= Perfect health...at least that's what I ve heard to be true.
Usually held for 15 to 20 minutes at a time to achieve results.
The body is profoundly activated by the frequencies of thoughts rather than thoughts' intellectual significance.
