Ok, Revy....the rumours are true! Terra Firma Farms has partnered up with the amazing Kevan McCroy to bring you Revelstoke’s first farm to table café. With plans to open late this month we are looking to hire servers, baristas, bakers, line cooks and dishwashers. If you are passionate about local food, motivated, energetic and looking to work in a fun and fast-paced environment we invite you to apply. We grow sunflowers on our farm for various reasons. We harvest the best blooms to sell as bouquets but probably the biggest benefit is as a cover crop. Sunflowers have deep roots bringing up nutrients and improving soil structure. They add massive amounts of carbon, beneficial bacteria and fungi to the soil. We also grow them because they’re pretty!
