The development of the app and the admin panel were completed and the app was launched to market in a timely manner. CASE STUDY An easier way to connect parents with compassionate, and trusted caregivers in their area was needed. A platform that was reliable, allowed for ease of communication and offered the ability to process payment between users. The project, named Need a Sitter, had originally been started by an existing Calgary developer company but had gone over the original budget and timeline. The client realized the project was not going to get done, but still believed in the idea and wanted to complete it at the original scope. This was when they approached TERRAFORM with the goal of getting the app to market. In order to take over a project that has already been started, TERRAFORM had to conduct a thorough review of the app’s initial progress. We had to discover what aspects of the app had been completed, what was and wasn’t working, and what was missing entirely. Our goal was to try to keep the original scope while working within the budgetary constraints of a project that had already received significant investment from the client. Balancing these concerns was our top priority to ensure the client was happy with the final product, and that they received a fully functioning app with all the main functionalities they originally requested. The app allowed users to post jobs and have sitters contact them directly. Communication between users was hosted on the app through an in-app chat system, and notifies users when new jobs or sitters are registered in their pre-set area distance. Some compromises were required, but we were able to launch an app that fulfilled the client’s expectations. Having already been delayed, the client wanted a launch. They were looking to get their app to market and start gathering feedback. TERRAFORM completed the features that were missing in the app and CMS (Content Management System - Admin Panel) and successfully launched the app and the client was able to gather profiles and begin making their first sales. TECHNOLOGY The app core features are: Calendar scheduling Device Geolocation and distance calculation Chat Filter and Sorting Push Notification Payment System Integration Admin Panel to manage users and content.

TERRAFORM has worked with Oilfield Lease Locator app to find a solution to the complicated oilfield mapping system. Field operations in the oil and gas industry have always used a complicated and proprietary address mapping system. For modern workers used to the ease of Google maps, it became clear to the client that the current system was outdated. Lease Locator team wanted to modernize the way workers found sites in the field to allow them to be more efficient, as well as m...aking day to day life a little easier. To create the ideal solution, TERRAFORM app development and consulting firm had to figure out what the exact pain points of the Lease Locator users were. The current mapping system was complicated and time-consuming, and even after finding the location, figuring out how to get there was still sometimes a challenge. The Lease Locator app needed to make the old system work like a current mapping app. One that could instantly pinpoint a location, provide driving instructions on how to get there, and allow access even in remote areas with no internet service. From identifying these key issues, the solution of Lease Locator was born in partnership with TERRAFORM. A database consisting of over 20 million data points was created allowing users to find every single location across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Users can search for a destination with their choice of formats (LSD, UTM, NTS and Lat/Long), and allow Google or Apple to give you directions within Google and Apple Maps. All locations are stored in a user’s history and can be recalled at any time, making it convenient to compare distances or revisit previous destinations.
