We had a situation late last week that involved a friend of an employee having had possible exposure to someone else with possible exposureto COVID which we proactively acted upon by isolating those potentially exposed to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. We now know each of those concerns tested NEGATIVE and no one was exposed. We appreciate the community concern and acted out of extreme caution for that reason. As we all know false rumours can hurt people - particularly our employees - so we felt it important to ensure transparency and stop false information. We’ve been very proud of our staff and their vigilance this season in dealing with the safety protocols and will continue to take all steps necessary to stay safe!! Back to business!

Our landscape services continue to operate on an essentials only basis which includes Spring Cleanups, Lawn Maintenance, Delivery of Landscape Supplies and permitted Shoreline Erosion/Flood protection measures. While we are eager to get back to servicing all of our clients we are taking all recommended precautions for our staff and clients safety including reduced crew structures, social distancing, disinfecting practices and adhering to provincial guidelines and regulations. To Our Valued Clients, We wanted to take the time to reach out to all of our valued clients to advise we have made the very difficult but necessary decision to limit most of Terra Vista Landscape Firm's operations for the the next two weeks due to the COVID-19 crisis. This is a very unsettling time for our staff and clients but we feel we can do our part by only completing work we deem essential as per the provincial mandates and keeping all services contact less.... The following is a list of limited services that we WILL continue to offer over the next 2-4 weeks: - Contactless Landscape Supply deliveries - see our material price list attached. Clients can call 613.476.8872 (leave a message) or email us here with their orders/dumping instructions in order to arrange delivery on either WEDNESDAYS OR FRIDAYS. Payment can be made by e-transfer (Password 'landscape') or by Visa/Mastercard. Our driver will leave material where instructed and not have any contact with clients. - Shoreline Erosion Prevention Construction - Landscape Design/Estimating/Consulting via phone, email or facetime. What this means for our current clients: Design/Estimating Our design team is continuing to work from home on designs/estimating and will continue to work with clients via phone, email and facetime. The planning stages can be completed effectively over the next weeks for our existing and new design clients. Construction We plan and hope to follow the 2020 scheduling as closely as we can while we do anticipate delays of 2-4 weeks on our existing construction projects. All shoreline projects that involve erosion control will be prioritized over the next month and considered essential. Maintenance Spring Cleanups and Lawn Maintenance will likely be slightly delayed although will hopefully fall in line with typical late start seasons.
