We’re debating when to take our tree and holiday decor down - Do you do before NYE or after? I’m thinking we’ll take the tree down but keep the garland and a few other winter touches up for now. On that note, anyone want to come take all the decorations off the tree? Ugh I hate that part.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from my family to yours Thank you all so much for being here with me during this crazy year. From having a baby to going through a pandemic all while running a business - Your support and kindness during the triumphs and the struggles means more than you know! I’m wrapping up one last thing before vacation but then I’m off for a little bit! I’ll still be getting back to emails here and there and showing up on Insta during my time off though so it won’t be completely radio silent! I hope you all have the most wonderful holiday season possible. Sending virtual hugs to you all!

5 days until Christmas! Ummmm, what!? Are you ready for it? I definitely am not ready over here, but I’m almost done prepping. I’ll get there, I always do!

If you had to pick just one to wear, would it be mascara or lipstick? I’m sure it’s not the most popular choice but for me there’s nothing like a little pop of lipstick I’m usually pink shades all the way, but ‘tis the season for red! That being said, masks are really putting a damper on my last minute attempts to look put together and add a little colour to my face these days. At least it’s usually just the grocery store I’m rushing off to

Excited to be doing something I haven’t done in a while soon! But today you can find me cozied up at home finishing up a wedding edit. Jare is taking Oaklynn out for a good part of the day so that I can have a productive Saturday. It’s much needed!

This fun, beautiful couple though!! Great to see them again after taking their engagement and wedding photos. Amy had a great idea of getting photos done every year or at least every couple years to document their growth. That cute dog in the hat I posted the other day, that’s their sweet pup Molly, such a sweet addition since I last saw them. I am already excited for their next shoot down the road! I love when I get to work with the same clients over the years. They turn into good friends and it makes the session even more fun. PS - Happy Birthday Lyndon!!

Monday’s to do: edit and answer emails while baby naps, have a dance party with baby when she wakes up, walk the dog, go to massage appointment

As we head further into September my beach session days are numbered. Sad! But I do also love a sunny, cozy fall day. Still mind blowing that fall starts a week from today!!! Definitely up to my eyeballs in editing and trying to do office work every chance I get (working part time right now while I spend the rest of my time caring for sweet baby Oak). I don’t drink coffee but if I did I would say send it all my way. Looking forward to getting back to the beach at least a couple more times before the season is over, capturing a family session and the second last 2020 wedding that I have!
