Dear Parents and Guardians, Please help us ensure that our Morning Drop-Off is a safe procedure for students by remembering the following: 1. All students must remain in their cars until the 8am bell when supervision on the walkway begins. 2. Students must exit their cars on the side facing the walkway and not in the path of oncoming cars. 3. Please remind your child to socially distance from other students as they walk towards the school. ... 4. The fire lane is for quick drop offs. Dear Families, Two very important events are happening in our school this week: Staff and students are encouraged to wear orange shirts or a touch of orange on Wednesday, September 30th as a symbol of support for the survivors and families of the Residential School System. Our students will be running and walking in memory of Terry Fox during their phys-ed classes this week. Families are welcomed to send in a donation for the Terry Fox Foundation any day this week.

Dear Families, Please remember to park in the parking lot at our dismissal times. Cars are not permitted in the fire lane at these times. Thank you for helping keep our students safe!

Our staggered entry has been a wonderful, safe way to start for our students as they learned new routines and settled into their classrooms after many months away. Dear Parents and Guardians, A copy of our CoVID-19 Operational Plan for 2020-2021 has been posted on our TFES website under school documents. This is a working document. Updates to this document will be posted on our website as needed.

Dear Families, Our dismissal times this year will be 2:00 for K-2 and 3:00 for 3-5. We have a new outdoor procedure for students being picked up. Parents/Guardians arriving for pick-ups will park in the parking lot and remain in or by their cars until their child’s class bubble arrives at their pickup zone outside and the teacher signals for you to approach. For safety reasons do not park in the fire lane or leave the parking area until a teacher gives you the signal to do s...o. Parents will then approach and line up near their child’s zone, and students will go to their parents one at a time. Students must dress for the weather and be prepared for rainy days and colder days throughout the year. Please note: There will be many students walking towards their zones, students walking away with their parents and buses leaving the property at these times. Parents must respect social distancing guidelines and be extra careful when entering and leaving the parking lot. Dear Families, We know that some of our students may be worried about bringing in all of their school supplies next week. Please know that we have made arrangements for families to drop off school supplies at school tomorrow (Friday) between 11:00 and 1:00 if they wish. Please drive around the bus oval and pull up to the library entrance. Please wait until you receive the signal to exit your car to place supplies on a designated table. Please have all supplies in one ti...ed bag with your child’s name and grade and homeroom teacher clearly labeled. A staff member will then deliver your child’s school supplies to their classroom.
