UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY! 24 hour policy still remains the same, we have now changed NO SHOWS to FULL GROOMING COST. I allow at least 15 mins to 20 mins(max) for showing up late. If customers end up no showing it gives us no time to call customers from the cancelation list. So no shows are now charged their full grooming cost. No show for nail trim appointments will now be charged for the appointment. Nail trims are $10.00, if customer no shows on their nail trim appointm...ent customer will be charged $10.00. Vaccination policy remains the same(except for rabies. I’ve heard rabies is uncommon up here but being from the coast we’ve always vaccinated against rabies but I’m leaving it up to owners choice.) Posted a flyer for our hours(for winter). Some customers were a bit confused on this matter. I do dog training on Saturdays but the business for calling, messaging, grooming etc is still closed. Calls and messages on Saturdays and Sundays will be returned on the following Monday. Added the new prices notice as well just to remind everyone We appreciate everyone for understanding See more

We apologize for not updating sooner we have had lots of issues with reopening. We keep getting hit with problem after problem after problem. With the problems, hearing horrible rumours/hearing horrible things that are being said about us(which I actually have heard with my own ears shopping at the stores), trying to get back to the 20-30 calls a day 7 days a week, replying to private messages and some people talking very disrespectful to us got me really stressed out. So I ...had to turn off notifications for private messages and mute the phone as I was starting to hear ringing in my sleep. I was starting to get burnt out and too stressed. We figured out protocols and have to cut back from 3-5 dogs a day to only two dogs a day. It be a real struggle only doing two dogs a day five days a week and no nail trims or cat shaves but it’s the only way to reopen so we’ve prepared ourselves for that. Main problem lately has been the insurance. Which can’t operate without that. So it has been very draining and mentally exhausting dealing with all this. Especially hearing what is being said about us. That has probably been the most heart wrenching issue. If this business was in its own building we would have been open in June please understand that it’s harder with the business in our private home. Sorry for such a long post but it’s been very hard on us dealing with all this. This pandemic has been hard on a lot of people and businesses. We are trying and we hope people know that. Thank you. Update: We have been trying very hard to get open soon! Talking with the government/WCB. Having troubles with the room I work in as it’s attached to the house and has no ventilation. Given that dogs are being tested positive for the virus and the virus can live on their fur is causing great difficulties. I’ve tried grooming my dogs with a mask on and glasses and it is impossible for me to work like that. I barely lasted 15 minutes. They have also told me once I bring a dog i...nto the groom room I can not go back in my house until the room and myself is fully sanitized(To some people needing a bathroom accessible is not important but to me it is.) This has been quite stressful as we are trying our hardest and working endlessly on this. We will be opening soon as it will come to a time where we will have to. Even if it will still be risky. But we won’t have a choice as we can’t stay closed any longer. Again everyone who was canceled due to the virus will be contacted first when reopening day comes and will be scheduled in first. ***Hearing a rumour that we sold our place and are moving. Again I’m done with lies and rumours so I’m just gonna say it is completely false. We would never sell and move WITHOUT telling anyone. We would find that to be completely rude and disrespectful. We never thought we would get this much disrespect and rudeness from people as we are working very hard over here. I will leave it at that*** we are just wanting to make sure we and our customers are safe when we reopen*** Thank you to everyone who supports us.

Update: We are still waiting for protocols from the government. We call them regularly to see if they have protocols available. They have informed me that dogs have been tested positive for the virus and the virus can live on the fur for sometime. Due to this we are waiting for the appropriate protocols before reopening. We are hoping for early June opening but still unsure yet. The government has also advised me since I am a in home business there are extra precautions to co...nsider as well. So I am shut down still until the government can give me protocols to follow and/or what I have to wear to protect myself. We are still getting numerous of phone calls and messages. We do ask for the continued patience. Calling us of all hours of the day/night and calling my personal cell phone of all hours day/night is not gonna make us open faster. Would appreciate people not calling my cell phone at 1am and leaving a rude voicemail. The messages that are being left on my cell phone AND the business phone are getting to the point of being disrespectful and we do not appreciate it. Thank you for the customers who are respecting us and holding patience during this difficult time. If people keep calling my cell phone I will be changing the number. Please call the office number 250-395-8977(during our business hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm)) as we will be updating the answering machine once we have an opening day or checking this Facebook page for update As for the rumour going around about me grooming some dogs since I’ve been closed is completely inappropriate. I have not groomed one dog since we have closed in March. I have some customers calling asking why I’ve groomed other dogs and not theirs. Whoever you are please stop as we find that completely inappropriate and don’t need to be dealing with that right now. Again like we always say do not take any offence to this post but we do need to let customers know what is going on and how we feel Thank you See more

To our customers, We ask for you all to please be patient. So everyone knows we do keep up to date with what is happening with the situation going on. We listen to Justin, John and Dr Bonnie whenever the speak. We know what John Horgan announced yesterday. We please ask for all our wonderful customers to please be patient. We know everyone is eager to get their dogs groomed but we need time. We can not just open with a snap of a finger. We need time. I am contacting the gover...nment at this very moment to know what protocols we have to go by as every business is gonna have rules and protocols to go by. We are not trying to be rude with this message but we are really getting overwhelmed with all the messages and phone calls we have been receiving since John Horgan’s announcement yesterday. We are starting to get stressed out with everyone asking when we are opening and to get their dog in ASAP. Please know we are rebooking everyone in in the order they were canceled from the day we closed so it’s fair to everyone. We ask for you to please stop, when we were canceling appointments we promised every customer we would contact them when we reopen and we plan to stick to that promise. We have TONS of people to rebook, about 6 weeks of cancelations to rebook currently. Please take no offense to this post but we really need it stop. We are focusing on an opening day and focusing on getting prepared for when we reopen. We are gonna need time. We need to gather what we need to make our place safe. We appreciate all our lovely customers and can not wait to see you all again. But please please please be patient. Messaging and phoning us will not make it go faster. please again take no offense to this but we are getting overwhelmed and we need to concentrate on opening this business back up. Again we will be contacting everyone who was canceled since we closed thank you we really appreciate your patience See more

As of today we are closing our doors until further notice. I talked to the government today and they told me I am a non-essential service and I should be closed. So we are doing what they tell us to do. Please keep checking our page for when we re-open. We will be posting when we can re-open. Thank you to all our wonderful customers. Stay safe

Getting this question a lot. I am still excepting cash, I sanitize the monies as soon as I get it and put it in an envelope. I do have some customers that ask me if they can pay by etransfer. I absolutely have no problem with that! Some people don’t want to be having bills and I completely understand it is all good to etransfer. If you would prefer to etransfer please let me know when you arrive for your appointment and I can give you my email address If you have not read my previous post please scroll pass this and please read. Thank you all
