As of today Dakota Ridge is officially open! Please stand by for snow updates. All season passes sold up to Dec. 10 can be picked up from the Field Rd. office ...Dec. 16, 17 and 18 from 9 am to 12 pm. Stay tuned for further direction on receiving season passes if you purchased after Dec. 10. If you are having trouble purchasing a pass please call 604-885-6801. Please note that there is active logging in the area so we ask that you please drive with caution when accessing Dakota Ridge.

In case it's not yet clear to anyone - the park is open for day-use only, and camping is not allowed in this park.

Banff Mountain Film Festival Online Tour starts November 26 Hello Tetrahedron Fans! The cabins will remain closed - and the Park open for day use only - until t...he pandemic is over. But the cabins and trails continue to demand attention regardless of use, and the club will not be expecting any general revenue this year (no Banff Mountain Film Festval fundraiser, no cabin fees). We spent most of our reserve funds in the last 2 years pushing to get cabin renovations finished, fly many seasons worth of firewood, and do much-needed work on the access road. How can you help? The Banff Centre has an online option via Vimeo to replace most of the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour events. The TOC has a link, you use it starting Thursday November 26th (8AM MDT), you choose one of two programs for $15USD for 72 hrs viewing time, or both programs for $28USD for 14 days viewing time, and we get a portion of that purchase (about $3CAN per program, more if a usage minimum is reached). It’s stream-only but you can watch on any device as much as you want during your purchase period until the end of October 2021. You will support the TOC, and you will support the excellent Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, which is struggling like any other institution of its kind. Details of the 2 programs are up on the Banff Centre website and you can view all info and purchase your ticket through the TOC’s unique link. The TOC website will have more information by November 26th, including all the links and tech info.
