Richmond Hill, Ontario (November 25, 2020) Polestar, the electric performance car brand from Sweden, is opening Polestar retail Spaces in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to showcase its line-up of progressive electric vehicles. These brick and mortar storefronts will support test drives and the first Canadian deliveries of the brand’s all-electric car, the Polestar 2. Toronto will see the first permanent retail Space in Canada, opening December 23rd. The showroom will be... located amongst the city’s most elegant shopping and dining destinations at 55 Avenue Road in Yorkville. The company has already opened two authorized Polestar service points to properly service the Greater Toronto area. To support the opening of permanent Spaces in Montreal and Vancouver in early 2021, temporary Polestar Spaces will be opened in the vibrant downtown neighborhoods of each city. Montreal will open a Space on December 6th at Carrefour Laval. Vancouver’s Space will be situated in Yaletown at 1050 Homer Street, opening on December 11th. Polestar Spaces give customers the ability to test drive our cars and learn about the brand, while still avoiding the headaches of a traditional automotive showroom, said Hugues Bissonnette, Country Manager of Polestar Canada. With the arrival of the Polestar 2, the opening of the new Polestar Spaces, and authorized service points across the country, we are now well-structured to support the Canadian market. Unlike conventional showrooms, Polestar Spaces are carefully designed, unique retail environments, designed to inform and educate visitors in a relaxed way. The Spaces are staffed by non-commissioned Polestar Specialists to assist customers with product information and facilitate test drives. On display are the 619 horsepower Polestar 1 electric performance hybrid GT, and the fully electric Polestar 2, the latter of which is the world’s first car to feature an infotainment system with Google apps and services built-in. Polestar offers a convenient home delivery and servicing program for all Polestar models. Customers living within 240 kilometres of a Polestar Space or authorized service point can have their car collected from their home or office, then returned once serviced, entirely free of charge. For those living outside this radius, the nearest Polestar Space will work to provide the most convenient delivery solution. The Polestar 1 and Polestar 2 can be configured at Polestar.com and are available for sale and delivery across all Canadian Provinces.
