Guess what?! We have an online WORKSHOP coming up on December 12. Direct Natural Dyeing with Locally Foraged Botanicals with Miriam Kaufman will guide you through the process of creating patterns with petals and seeds directly onto yarn or a fabric blank. This method makes it easier to produce difficult-to-achieve colours such as purples and greens using northeastern North American plants. Dear friends of the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op, Due to the evolving situation surrounding Covid-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all programming, workshops and classes for the foreseeable future. As soon as we are able to determine how and when it is safe to reschedule and/or replan our programming, we will make sure to get back in touch. In the meantime, we hope that you are safe and well supported in these challenging times. As a co-operative studio... the values of community care are a meaningful part of what we do - both creatively as well as relationally in this world. As part of our larger community we are taking action in all the ways that we can in order to demonstrate our care for you. Warmest regards, Jenna Reid President Contemporary Textile Studio Co-Op
