I’m back! As some of you noticed I kinda dropped off of social media business for a bit. In early November my Mother was diagnosed with advance stage of Alzheimer’s and in December my Father passed away. All that together, and the month leading up to this, became extremely overwhelming for me. I’m a complete spaz when it comes to family issues like this. I try to hide how I’m doing but my close family members know that I don’t do well in these situations. I made the decisi...on to step away from the businesses and allow a manager to step in and tie up loose ends and book only important clients. I’m still struggling but I have this nagging voice in my head to refocus back into my photography. That it’s time to pick up the camera again. Have I been doing work since. Absolutely! However it was for people that had some meaning to me, I turned down (or didn’t communicate back *sorry!*) all other bookings. It was those sessions/weddings that I could hear this voice saying get back at it. This is what your suppose to do. I know without a doubt this is my Dad. He was alway incredibly proud of my work and always encouraged me to push harder and create. Thank you dad for being my Jiminy Cricket and kicking my butt back into gear. Thank you everyone for your patience and a big thank you to those that I’ve shot since November. You helped me realize that this is where I need to be. I will be posting about fall sessions in the next few days.

Jayde of Winkworth Photography and I did our headshots yesterday. I took this one and Jayde has edited it. She is such a stunning lady inside and out! Love working with her in weddings and other projects.
