However, times have changed and so have we This year’s general meeting will be a series of online videos specifically created to inform you guys all about DEC...A and guide you through our application process. On Monday, April 1st, at 3:00 PM all components of the application must be submitted. Video component is to be submitted by email at [email protected] and the written component is to be printed and submitted to the Business Office (across from the library) by 3:00 PM. Remember, no previous DECA experience is required, and we welcome all grades and programs ...to join! We can't wait to see your applications and work with you! Good morning! Congratulations on taking the first step to join our chapter! We were blown away with the quality of your presentations. If you are set to present for today or tomorrow check this sheet to verify: tinyurl.com/tfssdecainterview With that said, it is time to turn your attention to the next part of the selection process. The entrance exam will be taking place Thursday, September 26th, 2018 after school in two locations - the Library and North Cafeteria, at 3PM. Th...e exam will consist of 80 multiple choice questions. Register on the turnerfentondeca.com website, if you have not already. This is required to take the exam. Review the following spreadsheet with your student number and location for the exam: https://tinyurl.com/tfssexam. If you informed us that you are unable to bring your own device/laptop, you will be completing your exam in in the library, either on one of the computers or with a school chromebook. If you are unable to locate your student number, send us a message ASAP with your student number, whether or not you are able to bring your own device to write the exam (a laptop, not a phone) and whether you are available to write the exam on Thursday after school. For those of you who are not available on Thursday after school, you will be writing the exam Friday after school in Rooms 105/107. We request that you bring your own device (laptop, not phone) if you are making use of this accommodation, as we cannot guarantee a chromebook for everyone on Friday after school.

HEY TROJANS!!! First of all, thank you for showing so much dedication and drive to being a part of this year's chapter. We had an overwhelming number of applicants this year and are very excited to see you! Now with that said, here is the link to the interview schedule. Please look for your student number and make note of the day, time and table number.... https://tinyurl.com/tfssdecainterview WHAT TO BRING FOR THE INTERVIEW: - Formal Business Attire (guys: blazer, dress shirt and tie, pants/ girls: blouse/professional dress, blazer, pants/pencil skirt) - Pen/Pencil - Lined Paper (for your own notes) Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your allotted time outside of room 104. You will have 10 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to present in total. (each individual at the table will speak for approx. 3 minutes.) The cases will be given to you on the day of and they will not be difficult so do not worry if you do not have in depth business knowledge. We're grading you on your presentation skills not your business knowledge (but if you want to throw in some buzzwords go for it!) IMPORTANT: ALL reschedule requests must be in to us by Monday 8 pm. You can email us to let us know if you cannot make it with a valid reason. After that, we will NO LONGER be moving your interview date. There are no exceptions to this rule as we have a large volume of interviews to get through.
