What a great day to curl up in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate ...after work, of course. I don’t know if you can see but we’ve started making some christmassy decor for the office, as it is approaching quicker than we think! ... Our deadline for Christmas kitchens is approaching FAST. If you were hoping for a kitchen before Christmas... we’ll see you tomorrow to order Christmas is going to look different for a lot of families this year, and it is more important than ever to help support our locals and keep money in our community. We’re going to do just that - I’ve already got a list going of local vendors and artisans, but am always looking to add it! If anyone has any suggestions for shopping local, please send us a message! I’d love to make my list longer and hope to help support as many as I can! Cheers to the start of the holiday season, and sharing it with those you love however that may look this year!

UPDATE: all have been claimed We’re updating our showroom and have a ton of misc quartz samples to give away by donation, all proceeds will be given to the local food bank! Come take them away we’re here today until 4, otherwise next week Tuesday - Friday 9am - 4:30pm at 865 Shawnigan Lake road.

We are very excited to announce that after Thanksgiving this weekend, our showroom will be open again Monday to Friday from 9am - 4:30pm for walk in customers! we will still be making appointments for after hours and weekends. It’s been a long almost 8 months since having it closed, and we can’t wait to see what projects you have for us to quote! Please consider wearing a mask for your visit, and we will have lots of hand sanitizer! 2 people will be allowed in the store at a time, with cleanings between every client. It may be different than before, but man are we excited to be open to the public again!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has placed an order with us, any time, but especially throughout this pandemic. Everything is slowly opening back up with new regulations, but you guys have kept us so busy, our showroom will remain open by appointment only, to keep all hands on deck in the shop. There has been a lot of uncertainty these days, and being a small, family owned business, we appreciate more than ever having the support of our community to keep us going! The time has come for us to close our showroom to the public until further notice. We are a small group of people, who, as we’ve come to realize, don’t do much outside of work when we’re not quarantined as it is So we’ll be working together in isolation at our shop for now - which isn’t much different from a norma...l day for us! Valued customers: Our showroom hours have been cut back to Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays only, from 10 am until 4:30 pm to accommodate our at risk staff and try to encourage social distancing at this time. Appointments can be made ahead of time for the days we’re closed. We are a small business, with only typically one client at a time, and very little daily foot traffic. However, if you’re feeling sick at all, or have been outside of the country, we ask that you contact u...s by phone or email instead of coming by the showroom for a visit. Luckily, a lot of what we do can be done without any human contact at all. Our production has not wavered, and operations are still in full swing at the shop. We have a case of chocolate covered almonds for sale from the Children’s Wish Foundation - they are $4 a box (cash) and proceeds go to granting wishes to Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Happy FRIDAY! Fridays are always fun , but it’s also Valentine’s Day ,AND the start of Family Day long weekend What a great weekend to spend time with those you love. ... They’re calling for a bit of a soggy weekend, but get out there and enjoy what the wet coast has to offer! At least it’s not snow We will be closed Monday, but open as usual for the rest of the week.

Holy WIND! Power is flickering like crazy down here - just enough to shut the computers down every 3 minutes of course Stay safe and dry out there! If the power goes out for an extended period of time we’ll have to call it a day, but for now we will be here rebooting the computers repetitively

A small, but functional kitchen for this amazing customer! Not pictured is the fridge. Why? Because it’s hidden in one of the pantries the fridge is a tad noisy due to its solar-powered capabilities, and hiding it away in a pantry was a great way to help contain and dampen some of the sound. A nice mix of v-groove and plain antique white PVC shaker, with a copper sink and faucet (which looks amazing, the pictures don’t do it justice), brushed bronze hardware, and cornice... mouldings with ceiling connection fit very well in this rustic cabin. Initially looking at wood doors, we opted for a solid off-white to help break up the many other wood accents in the home, and help open up the small space. Abstract stone supplied Radianz quarts tops tie the whole thing together by bringing some warmth, and picking up the copper and bronze hues of the hardware. It may not be exactly rustic but blends very well with the rest of the home, without overdoing it. Now to wait on the flooring!

Final push before the Christmas break!

Some before and afters of this very custom, small kitchen renovation! The bulkhead required us to make custom height upper cabinets - smaller than our smallest standard - in order to maximize storage. With an added island, adjustable wine cabinet, bar area, 4 deep full door spice cabinet, and an open cabinet for basket display (not shown), we were able to build in a ton of functionality with some eye catching details in this small space. And a big shout out to these customers for being so amazing throughout the whole process. Building kitchens is our job, but it’s all our amazing customers who make us love doing it!

Pardon the construction zone photo shoot... Afraid of dark cabinets in a small space? Not always necessary! It’s hard to tell, but this small kitchen is part of an open floor plan home. With light coloured flooring (to go in after), light walls, and plenty of natural light, this colour WORKS and makes the kitchen a real focal point in the home ... And, these doors are wood grain PVC... which is a cost saving feature, and takes away the uncertainty of what to expect with natural wood products. Will update with better pictures once it’s complete

An open airy kitchen for this View royal basement suite. Lots of drawers below and tall cabinets above to maximize storage With a coat closet in one pantry, and a broom closet in the other, everything will have a home Can’t wait to see it with quartz countertops and undercabinet lighting!
