Looks like we might actually get one day of winter this year lol. Don’t worry we aren’t complaining about the mild weather, sure makes living up here and keeping things running a lot easier than -40 and 4 feet of snow. Hoping everyone is staying happy and healthy, it won’t be long before we all get to see each other again!

It’s trying very hard to freeze but the wind and the waves aren’t letting it, and they are making a mess of the ice. Last year the lake froze over Nov 12 and I’m thinking it might be a little while yet with the mild temps. UPDATE: the lake froze over not even 12 hours after I made this post haha. So Nov 17, 2020 is the date.

Honouring all who served, we will not forget.

What a beautiful day even though there’s snow on the ground and it’s 15F. I suppose it’s winter here now and I can say it’s the end of the season that never happened. We missed everyone so much and are already looking forward to next year to reunite. Camp got some updated roofs, windows and some major tree trimming in the yard this year and I’m sure everyone will enjoy the new and improved views from the cabins. We are nearly booked solid for 2021 but there are a few remaining spots if anyone is interested. 2021 and 2022 bear hunts are totally booked so I wouldn’t hesitate to get a deposit down for a year or two after that because they seem to be going fast already. We wish you all a safe and healthy winter season and fingers crossed we get this border open sooner than later.
