Well it's that time of year again. Today is the kickoff to Motorcycle awareness month. As you know more and more motorcycles are starting to fill the roads. Please remember that with a much smaller profile they are harder to see. Take that time when going through an intersection to watch for them. When changing lanes please double check before changing. Motorcyclists, watch for gravel til the roads are clear and please ride with respect for all on the road. Together we share the roads,let's make it safer for all.

With everything going on in the world, now is the time to talk about safety with your family and we want to help! Here is a little Safety Contest you can enter. Here is how you enter: 1. Take a photo or video of your children/family showing how they are practicing safety at home. It can be anything from washing your hands to practicing "Stop, Drop and Roll"! 2. Post your photo/video on social media (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) using the hashtag #STAYSAFEAB... 3. Tag the Alberta Safety Council in your post! Summer camps available for children aged 5-12!
