They say the brewing industry is known for its collaborative nature, that there’s an unspoken bond between brewers, a willingness to share newly discovered techniques & raw materials even if you work for competing breweries. Well, we’re here to tell you it’s true! All of it! Not only that, many of the brewers & brewing industry folk we’ve met over the years have become true friends...like real life friends, not just associates. We’re hesitant to use the word community bec...ause we feel it gets tossed around far too easily these days, but we really can’t think of any other word to describe what the craft beer industry means to us, other than a whole bunch of friends & people we know, all around us, helping each other out almost everyday - community. The last couple of months we’ve been on a bit of a collab tear with our sister brewery, @brassneckbrew It’s our 13th Anniversary, 1000th Beer list & Ten Year reunion of @vcbw event #hoppapalooza. Jeez, that’s a lotta good reasons to celebrate. In honour of all this we asked some industry friends if they’d be willing to make a cool beer with us to celebrate. Some brewed at Brassneck others brewed at their breweries. We had a lovely response & we’ve brewed with 7 different breweries: Twin Sails, Superflux, Gigantic, Luppolo, Dageraad, Beere & Four Winds. We’re not gonna spoil Hoppapalooza by giving too much else away, but here’s a bunch of photos to enjoy with a few little clues as to what kinda crazy adjuncts we’ve been adding. We’ll be releasing all these beers plus one or two other surprises we have up our sleeves at Hoppapalooza this SUNDAY JUNE 2nd!!! Get your tickets, they’re almost done. That’s not all.
