SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2019 SO FAR THIS WEEK We are created by God in His image and since we are His creation we do not own ourselves. God is interested in what... we do with our bodies. We were created for dominion and worship. Acceptable worship requires presenting your body as a living sacrifice meaning, denying the body the pleasures of the world. The Bible is the manual to godly life. Every appliance has a manual which the manufacturer expects the consumer to read before and during its operation. Failure to read and obey the manufacturers instructions can result in the breakdown of appliance. The Bible is the manual of the Christian. All scripture (manual) is inspired by God (manufacturer) and is useful to teach us (appliance) what is true, to make us realize what is wrong, to correct us when we are wrong, and to teach us to do what is right. Paul urged Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:14 to remain faithful to the things he had been taught because Timothy attest to them as true and can trust those who taught him. In the same vain, remain faithful to your maker and believe that God is equipping you to do every good work. PRAYER: Holy Spirit, grant me the strength to stand for Christ Jesus always in these last days. #PossessingtheNations
